Add a Customized Menu Item in the Back Office

When Customers make special Order requests, Spoonfed offers an easy way to Customize Items and Menus so that you can easily accommodate for Bespoke Orders. This can only be done in the Back Office and if the user has this permission turned on.

To add Bespoke Items, you need to first turn them on in the Menu Module. Read about adding Bespoke Menu Options Here.

Add a Bespoke Item in a Fixed Price Menu

  1. In the Item Selection Tab, click Add Menu.

  2. Choose the Menu to Order.

  3. Click Add Bespoke Item.

  4. Enter the Bespoke Item, including the Name, and Item Type. If needed, add a description of the Item in the Item Note. Enter the desired quantity of Bespoke Items.

  5. Click Add Bespoke.

  6. Click Add to Order.

  7. The Bespoke Item shows up under the original Menu it's customizing.

Add a Bespoke Item in an A La Carte Menu

  1. In the Item Selection Tab, click Add Menu.

  2. Choose the Menu to Order.

  3. Click Add Bespoke Item.

  4. Enter the Bespoke Item Details including Price and Item Type.

  5. Click Add Bespoke.

  6. Click Add to Order.

  7. The Bespoke Item shows as an A La Carte Item on the Order Receipt.
