How to design the landing page of your site

The Online Ordering Page, or Landing Page, is the first page Customers see when they go online to place an order. It might look like this:

Oftentimes, the Landing Page Design is set up and discussed during onboarding with Spoonfed. A Spoonfed team member can help determine what the best design style is for your business and make the site presentable before going live.

You must have user permissions activated to edit the Online Ordering Site Design. Make sure these changes are necessary before adjusting the entire look of the Site.

Edit the Landing Page Design

To modify the Landing Page Design, go to Setup > Online Ordering > Design.

Logo, Header, and Background Image

  1. Add or change images for the Logo, Header, and Background Image.

  2. Click Choose File within the category to upload a new image.

  3. Click Save when finished

Customize Website Colors

Customize the theme and text colors to match the color style of your restaurant. Check the tick box near the color to choose then choose from the customizable color wheel. Enter a specific HEX color number for exact customization.

Catering Site Icon

The Catering Site Icon is the icon that shows up in a web tab. You might choose to make this your restaurant logo.

After you design your Online Ordering Page and set up your appropriate colors, you'll want to make sure that the Menu Pages are just as eye-catching. Don't forget to add pictures to the Menu Categories and Menus so that your clients are enticed to order your delicious food!
