Speak with your Spoonfed Account Manager to help answer questions about setting up Payment Gateway Information.

To allow the option of saving cards in a Contact's profile for future use, go to Setup > Online Ordering > Payments. Click into the payment gateway your account has integrated. Check the Saved Card Options Box then choose the method of taking and saving cards.

Save Cards for Future Use

Payments can be processed on Spoonfed without saving the card details for future use. Customers enter their payment card information each time they place an Order on Spoonfed. This is inconvenient for frequent Customers and makes the overall checkout process longer.

Since saving card payment information is secure and makes for an easier future checkout, we recommend checking the Saved Card box. This securely saves cards in the Contact's Profile to use for future Orders. The Customer can also save multiple cards to their profile.

Saved Card Options

Read about Validate Card v Pre-Authorization Here. While these are the two most popular options, there are three total ways to take card payments and save them for future orders:

Check the 'Saved Card Options' box and then your chosen method of taking payment.

Secure Storage of Card Payment Information

Please note that all Payment Card Details are stored on your Payment Gateway's servers NOT on Spoonfed’s. The Payment Gateway passes a ‘token’ back to Spoonfed, which maps to the Card details and allows transactions to be conducted through the Spoonfed website.

This allows for a secure transaction, and ensures to Customers that their card details are being stored securely.
