Sometimes, you need to change the method of payment that a Customer uses to place an Order. They may have selected 'On Account' but now want to pay for the Order with a credit card instead of a purchase order number. Follow the steps below to change the Payment Method used in an Order.
Find the Order to edit.
Click View/Edit to the right of the Order.
On the Details Tab, find the Payment Methods section.
Click the new Payment Method to pay with.
Click Save.
Click 'Reconfirm'.
When you Reconfirm, you can choose to send a payment request to the customer, asking them to pay with the new payment details. This is especially helpful if you changed the payment method for them to pay with a credit or debit card.
