If you use MailChimp and would like to use it for Email Marketing with Spoonfed, follow the instructions below to get started.

Go to Setup > Features > Email Marketing.

The options to integrate MailChimp and export data show up here.

Integrate MailChimp

In order to integrate your MailChimp account, you must first have the API key from MailChimp.

Get API Key from MailChimp

  1. Login to MailChimp account.

  2. Click on the account name at the top right. Click 'Account'.

  3. Click on 'Extras'. Then 'API Keys'.

  4. Scroll down and click 'Create a Key' (if you haven't already created one).

  5. Copy the API Key.

  6. Return to the Spoonfed Back Office.

Integrate MailChimp with Spoonfed

  1. Paste the API Key into the field.

  2. Click Save Key.

Add Customer Contacts to Mailshots.

  1. Go to the Customer Module. Find the Customer to add and go to their Contact Tab.

  2. In the Contact Details, check 'Subscribe to Mailshots'.

    1. Note that by running the sync between Spoonfed and MailChimp, only Customer Contacts with the 'Subscribe to Mailshots' box ticked in the Contact profile will be synchronized.

  3. Click Save.

We recommend that you regularly subscribe your Contacts to mailshots to prevent a backlog when you update your mailing list or send a mailshot from MailChimp.
