The Top Stock Items report exports an Excel spreadsheet showing your most important items over two selected periods of time.
The report lists each stock item's:
- total order value
- that value as a percentage of the report
- the number of orders made of that item
- and the average value of the orders that included the item in each time period.
Note that the total order value from a stock item that is included as part of a Fixed Price menu will show the collective value of the sales of the menu that it is part of.
To run the report, go to the Reports module and select Top Stock Items. In the 'Top' field select the number of stock items you want on the report. The default is 10, but the report can be run for all your items or just a few.
The report as standard runs for all sites that the User has access to. This can be changed from 'All' to a specific site.
Then select the two date ranges. These do not need to be the same length, so for a quick non-comparative ranking of customers, the second field can be filled in, with the results being ignored on the export.
Click Generate Report and the Excel file will be downloaded.
The Report shows the results of Date Range 1 above those of Date Range 2.
